Kennel and Cattery
HVAC
The cat condos and the interior portions of the dog runs are in the lower level of a banked barn structure. This keeps the interior naturally cool during the summer, and warm in the winter. The interior is heated in the winter and air-conditioned/dehumidified during the summer.
Kennel
- We have twelve large 4'x 35' exercise-condusive indoor/outdoor runs, and three 4'x6' indoor-only runs.
- Each run contains one or two large 2' x 4' plastic risers for the dogs to relax on.
- We can combine adjacent dog runs for flexible space and feeding arrangements
- You are welcome to bring beds, cages, blankets, etc. that your dog is famliar with.
- We have beds for dogs that are not prone to chewing them up.
- The dogs in the indoor/outdoor runs can go in and out as they wish, during the day. We may close the doors at night to keep them inside, warm and safe from the damp night air.
- The dogs in the indoor-only runs are walked every 3 - 4 hours during the day, and every 4 - 5 hours at night.
- Only dogs belonging to the same owner are ever boarded together in the same run, except when multiple owners are specifically boarding their dogs together.
Cattery
- We have four large 3' x 3' x 3' three-tier exercise-condusive cat condos.
- Each condo contains two balconies.
- You are welcome to bring toys that your cat is familiar with.
Feeding
We only use premium dry foods. We have refrigeration for your canned and wet foods, and medications, if needed. You are welcome to bring foods of your choice if you prefer, at no additional cost.
Exercise
We will walk and play with the dogs and cats, outside, weather permitting, at your request, at no additional cost. We do not allow interaction between separately boarded pets, especially of different owners, to avoid adverse consequences, unless the respective owners have mutually agreed to allow this.
Restrictions
- We only provide dog and cat boarding services for domesticated dogs and cats.
- We do not provide permanent boarding.
- We do not board Pit Bulls or English Staffordshire Terriers, or mixes thereof.
